Fire at Jaya Cinemas in Kolkata; 15 fire engines at work | Kolkata News – Times of India

Kolkata: A fire broke out at Jaya Cinemas – a five-decade-old theater in Lake Town that was converted into a two-screen privately owned non-multiplex movie hall – on Friday night.
Fifteen fire tenders reached the spot and brought the fire under control by midnight.

Fire officials said the fire broke out on the top floor of Jaya II, also known as Mini Jaya (as it was added many years after the old building of Jaya Cinema) around 9.45 pm.
