MumbaiPopular TV actress Kavita Kaushik, best known for playing the role of Chandramukhi Chautala in ‘FIR’, has donated her hair to make wigs for cancer patients. She took to social media to share a video to inform her followers about her noble cause.

The talented actress shared the video on her official Instagram handle asking fans to wait for her new look. “And it goes to charity to make wigs for cancer patients,” read the caption for the post.
Several small screen celebs including Bharti Singh, Kamya Punjabi, Tanaaz Irani, Karan Khanna commented on the post and appreciated the poem. Watch his video!
Kavita seeks advice from fans
The ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestant had asked her fans for a suggestion before getting a haircut. She also shared a representative image on her Instagram story to give a glimpse of her look before heading to the salon. “I am dying to go in for a makeover and get funky short cuts like this one!! Please advise nah, do me?,” her post read.
Madhuri Dixit’s son also donated his hair for cancer patients
On the occasion of National Cancer Day, the Dhak Dhak girl of B-town shared a post on Instagram revealing that her son Ryan decided to grow his hair for almost two years as he wanted to donate it to cancer patients.
“Not all heroes wear hats….. but I did. On the occasion of National Cancer Day, I want to share something really special. Ryan was heartbroken to see so many people going through chemo for cancer. Everything they go through, their hair falls out. My son called for a donation to his Children’s Cancer Society. We were thrilled with his decision as parents,” wrote Madhuri.
The “Devdas” actress also said that she and her husband Dr. Sriram Nene are “thrilled” to learn about their son’s decision. He said, “As per the guidelines, it took them almost 2 years to grow the required length of hair. And this was the last step. Today we stand here with pride. @drneneofficial.”
Bollywood and TV celebs have a huge fan following of people of different ages and we really hope that Kavita’s selfless act will inspire people.
