Finnair Announces Improved Business Class, Premium Economy On New Delhi-Helsinki Route: Check Features

Finland-based airline Finnair offers its superior business class and premium economy. The new travel range will include all Finnair Airbus A350 and A330 long-haul aircraft and will come with unique new Business Class, Premium Economy and refreshed Economy Class. The new cabin classes, which will offer more legroom, luxurious seats and other amenities, will make their debut for Finnair customers traveling from New Delhi to Helsinki and beyond, starting March 27, 2023. It started operations in 1923.

The launch of the new premium economy cabin comes as part of Finnair’s €200 million investment across all long-haul aircraft to enhance the customer experience. According to the airline, the cabin refurbishment on the New Delhi route is in line with the airline’s rollout plan in Asian markets and will enhance its facilities and services. The cabin upgrade is the airline’s endeavor to offer a premium offering and enable connections between India to more than ten major destinations in Finland through the Helsinki hub.

Finnair Business Class: new features

– Huge New Collins Aerospace AirLounge Seats

– In-seat lighting designed in partnership with JetLight inspired by Nordic nature, complete with northern lights as the cabin dims for sleep

– Inflight entertainment system with 18-inch wide screen

– USB A, USB C, PC power charging connectivity and wireless mobile charging options available with internet connectivity for long haul flights

– Ittala Kulas food collection designed by Harri Koskinen

– Fresh food and drink offerings including up to six course meals and another light meal in a modern bistro-style setting

Unique pillow and scarf by Finnish fashion house Marimekko with designs by Maija Isola

Finnair Premium Economy: new features

– 50% more space than economy class

– Seats with memory foam cushions, a deep 8” recline, waterfall leg rests and 6-way headrests

– Dedicated storage for laptop and small personal items

– Large and sturdy single leaf meal tray for work and dining, plus a personal reading light

– Redesigned in-flight entertainment system with 13″ wide screen
