Fighter jet lands on UP’s Purvanchal Expressway as part of Exercise

Purvanchal Expressway: Indian Air Force fighter jets landed on the airstrip of Purvanchal Expressway on Saturday as part of an emergency exercise between civil and military officials.

According to official information, so far Miraj fighter jets have touched the airstrip of the expressway.

Earlier, before the exercise, Indian Air Force officials inspected the airstrip built on the expressway. Aircraft handling was a part of the regular training of civil and military officers.

Defense PRO said, “As part of regular training and towards increasing coordination between civil and military functionaries, there will be aircraft operations on the Purvanchal Expressway.”

According to the Defense PRO, many types of aircraft including helicopters and fighter jets will participate in the exercise.
