Known for portraying Dr. Armaan Malik in the popular Indian drama series Dill Mill Gayye, actor Karan Singh Grover is set to grace the screen in Siddharth Anand’s highly awaited film, Fighter. The filmmakers recently revealed his character details and look on Tuesday. Similar to Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, Karan is taking on the role of an air force pilot in the film.
Karan makes his entrance as Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill, as featured in the newly-unveiled poster where he exudes a commanding presence in his military uniform. The emblem bearing his call name, Taj Gill, is displayed on his chest.
Karan’s wife and actor Bipasha Basu was all praise for him. She shared the poster on social and wished him luck for the film. “All the best ” she captioned the post and added section, “Handsome Hot Hubby” in the comments. Actor Dia Mirza also seemed happy with Karan being a part of the film and wrote, “This makes me so so happy.” Television actor Surbhi Jyoti commented, “Woooaahhhh .” Karan’s close friend and Dil Mill Gaye co-actor Ayaz Khan commented, “Rock it bro ❤️ @iamksgofficial.”
While Karan’s character has been officially introduced, the actor had a fleeting moment in the film’s recently released teaser, making a brief appearance dancing alongside Hrithik and Deepika.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, Fighter is set to transcend boundaries with its stellar cast and gripping storyline. Expectations from the actioner are pretty high as it marks the third collaboration between Siddharth and Hrithik, who have earlier delivered blockbusters like Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019). The film also marks the first project between Hrithik and Deepika. Anil Kapoor will also be playing a key role in the movie.
