Madurai: Southern Railway In view of the rush of passengers during the festive season, additional coaches have been added in some special trains. According to a statement by Southern Railway, all the additional coaches will have reserved accommodation.
No. 06723 / 06724 Chennai Egmore-Kollam-Chennai Egmore Special trains will get an additional sleeper class coach from Chennai from 1st to 11th November and from Kollam from 2nd to 12th November.
Train No. 02668/02667 Coimbatore-Nagercoil-Coimbatore Special trains will have two Sleeper Class and one General Second Class coaches from Nagercoil from 30 October to 8 November and from Coimbatore from 31 October to 9 November. Train No. 06616/06615 Coimbatore-Mannargudi – Coimbatore Special trains will have one sleeper class coach from November 2 to 9.
Train No. 02084/02083 Coimbatore-Mayiladuthurai-Coimbatore Special trains will have two second class seating chair cars on November 1, 3 and 7. From Rameswaram on 2nd and 3rd November.
Train No. 02694/02693 Tuticorin – Chennai Egmore – Tuticorin Special trains will have one sleeper class coach from Tuticorin from 30 October to 7 November and from Egmore from 2 to 10 November. Train No. 02633/02634 Chennai Egmore-Kanyakumari-Chennai Egmore Special trains will have one sleeper class coach from Chennai Egmore from 31 October to 8 November and Kanyakumari from 1 to 9 November.
Train No. 02206/02205 Rameswaram-Chennai Egmore-Rameswaram Special trains will have one General Second Class coach from Rameswaram from 31 October to 10 November and Egmore from 31 October to 13 November.
