In Moradabad, a case has come to light for issuing a fatwa against a Muslim doctor who showered flowers on the path of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The doctor has lodged an FIR against Hafiz Imran Warsi, who issued the fatwa. The police has arrested Hafiz Imran.
The case is of Mahmudpur village of Manather police station area of Moradabad. Nizam Bharti, a doctor living here, says that he is associated with the BJP. Dr Nizam told that on April 2, he had showered flowers on the path of RSS in the village. The volunteers involved in the path movement were also welcomed with a garland of flowers. Angered by this, Hafiz Imran Warsi of the village issued a fatwa against him.

Reward for escaping and killing the village
According to the FIR lodged by Dr Nizam Bharti, it has been said in the fatwa to kill him and give one lakh rupees to the one who ran away from the village. The fatwa also talked about banning the entry of Dr. Nizam into mosques. Doctor Nizam told that these fatwa pamphlets were put in the mosques of the village. He immediately complained about this to the police. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused Hafiz Imran Warsi.

In the matter, Moradabad SSP Bablu Kumar says that the matter of fatwa had come to the fore for cooperating in the path movement of RSS. As soon as the complaint was received from the victim doctor Nizam Bharti, the police has registered a case. He said that the accused has been arrested and is being sent to jail.

Dr Nizam Bharti says that he is scared because of the fatwa. This puts his life in danger. He said that such a fatwa would increase the disharmony in the society. Dr Nizam said that it is his personal freedom and desire to shower flowers on the path of RSS. No one else should have any objection in this, but Hafiz Imran Warsi incited people by calling RSS the enemy of Muslims.
