The ‘scattered’ biological father of a schoolgirl who was allegedly murdered and thrown into a barrel by the river has vowed to ‘get an answer’ about her tragic death.

The man, who could not be identified for legal reasons, shared a tribute Wednesday morning, hours after learning that his daughter’s body was found a week after she disappeared from Mount Wilson’s property in the Blue Mountains.

They said, ‘Bye bye pretty girl… we will answer you, and we will give you due respect.’

‘You have captured the hearts of the nation and the world, and now those hearts are breaking with me.’

Sources told Daily Mail Australia that as shocking new details emerged about the girl’s death on Wednesday, troubled police found her body inside a barrel in scrubland near the Colo River.

A few weeks before she went missing, the little girl won a literacy award at the end of her school year.
