Farmers have called a Bharat Bandh today amid the ongoing agitation against the three agricultural laws. The effect of the shutdown is now visible. Many national and state highways have been blocked. Many routes have to be diverted. Train movement is also affected. Many trains going from Delhi have been cancelled. The protesting farmers plan to hold a wheelbarrow and protest from 6 am to 4 pm. In Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, more impact of this bandh is visible.

Congress, RJD, Aam Aadmi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party and Left parties have supported Bharat Bandh. The Bharat Bandh has also received support from the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC). At the same time, the government has appealed to the farmers to leave the agitation and adopt the path of dialogue. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the government is ready to consider the objections of the farmers.

Farmers blocked the wheel in UP
Farmers of UP, Haryana, Punjab and other states have been staging a sit-in for 10 months against agricultural laws. Massive impact of Bharat Bandh in Punjab
Farmers are continuously protesting at Ladowal Toll Plaza and MBD Mall Ferozepur Road in Ludhiana, Punjab. On Monday, these routes will be closed from 6 am to 4 pm. Schools, colleges and universities will remain closed. Exams will be online and teachers will work from home. Many schools have postponed the examinations.
