Faridabad: Factory worker arrested for stealing from office – World Latest News Headlines

The Faridabad police have arrested an employee of a copper making factory for allegedly stealing from his workplace.

According to the police, the accused has been identified as Vicky, who worked as a folding operator in a factory in Ballabhgarh.

“The accused was stealing some valuables from the factory every day. Faridabad Police PRO Sube Singh said he fled when other employees of the establishment caught hold of him.

Later, based on the complaint of the factory owner, an FIR was registered against him at the Sadar Ballabhgarh police station and a team was formed to nab him.

“The accused was arrested following information received from police sources. During interrogation he revealed that he is a drug addict, and was committing the crime to take money to buy drugs,” the PRO said. So far, an amount of Rs 2100 has been recovered from the accused. He has been produced in the court and has been sent to judicial custody.”
