Bollywood actors Fardeen Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with the film Prem Agan, is all set to make a comeback with the film Blast co-starring Riteish Deshmukh, Priya Bapat and Krystle D’Souza. In a recent interview, the son of late actor Feroz Khan talked about the struggles in both his personal and professional life. He told Bollywood Hungama that he didn’t deserve the Filmfare Award for Best Debut for Prem Aggan because he thought he was terrible in the film. The actor also opened up about the time he and his wife lost their twins in their sixth month of pregnancy.

Talking to the publication he said, “I don’t think I deserve that award. It was the culture and things of that time, that people used to get such awards. I look at my work, I definitely Didn’t deserve it. The film didn’t work, I didn’t work, I looked back and thought I was terrible.”

He further revealed that he had to return the money given for the films and sat at home for a whole year without any work. “I didn’t have any work, before the films I had signed, people took their money back. Some of the money I was given had been spent, so I had to return that money.”

“So he was very strict, my dad. Because he was a completely self-made man and he didn’t believe in protecting you, especially in terms of economic reality. That whole year passed, I was a bit of a nerd. Gone in the shell. The reviews were terrible, no one wanted to work with me. Then I picked myself up, started working out, came out with a plan to meet people and go there. I worked on my Hindi Continued to do what was too bad for my first film.”

Not only his professional struggles, he also spoke openly about his personal life. After the death of his father in 2009, his wife Natasha and he lost their twins in their sixth month of pregnancy. She continued to tell the publication, “We had challenges having children, so we had to go the IVF route. We had a bad experience with doctors here in Mumbai. Natasha really suffered because IVF is not easy. It’s very hard for your body and your health.”

“With Natasha, in one of her early pregnancies, we had twins. She lost them at six months. It was very hard for us. It was a tough time. She gave birth alive and we lost the babies.”

After all, after these struggles, the couple were overjoyed when they welcomed their daughter in 2013.

“It gave us a lot of joy. When you go through an experience like this, when you look at your baby, you cherish life so much and you see it so deeply. You appreciate it so much.” When my daughter was born, it made me melt. So, it was just being daddy.”

In 2017, the couple welcomed their second child, a son.
