MS Dhoni acted with the bat as Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Capitals to book their place in the final of IPL 2021.

It made all the CSK fans join in the celebration and one such video was shared by a Twitter user from a cinema hall where fans went crazy after Dhoni’s winning knock.

Dhoni was not doing well with the bat in the IPL for the last two seasons. Which is why Captain Cool was daring to come ahead of in-form Ravindra Jadeja, with CSK needing 24 runs off 11 balls.
Coming to bat in the 19th over, Dhoni started with a dot off Avesh Khan, but the very next ball hit a long six over the boundary of deep mid-wicket. Dhoni didn’t look back after that and brought down the equation to the required 13 runs in the last 6 balls, which CSK got off just 4 balls with the help of 3 fours from Dhoni and a wide from Delhi bowler Tom Curran.
Earlier in the game, the Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals posted a total of 172 runs on the board with opener Prithvi Shaw and a quick half-century from the captain. In reply, a memorable stand between Rituraj Gaikwad and Robin Uthappa ensured a brilliant run-chase by the Yellow Brigade. Gaikwad contributed 70 off 50 balls and Uthappa contributed 63 runs in 44 balls.
CSK will now take on the winner of the second qualifier between Delhi Capitals and Eoin Morgan-led Kolkata Knight Riders for the IPL trophy on October 15. The second qualifier between DC and KKR will begin on Wednesday, October 13 at 7:30 pm.
