Queen of Tears features some exciting cameos from Kwak Dong-yeon and Oh Jung-se.

Starring actors Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won in the lead roles, the Queen of Tears which recently premiered on tvN and Netflix, is creating a lot of buzz. K-drama lovers, in particular, are excited about the cameos by actors Kwak Dong-yeon and Oh Jung-se. Prior to the show’s premiere, the Korean network had already dished out a couple of sneak peeks, confirming the star-studded cast including big-shot cameos by the It’s Okay to Not Be Okay actor, who earlier played Soo Hyun’s brother in the 2020 hit series.

Jung Se appeared in the first episode of Queen of Tears as Baek Hyun Woo’s (played by Kim Soo-hyun) psychiatrist. While the hit drama saw the two in the role of brothers, Queen of Tears seems to have flipped the board, showing Jung Se offering medical support to Soo Hyun.

While fans are already loving the brothers reuniting on the screen, it also has another surprising cameo by Kwak Dong Yeon. The actor has previously worked with both male and female leads in popular K-dramas. While he had a small role in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, playing Kwon Gi Do in episodes 3,4, and 16, Kwak Dong Yeon was also seen in Fight for My Way alongside Kim Ji-won. He played the role of the ex-boyfriend who cheats on the female lead. However, this time, he plays the role of Hae In’s younger brother.

With such exciting reunions, the show is already creating a lot of anticipation among fans, leaving them waiting for the upcoming episodes. “The queen of department stores and the prince of supermarkets weather a marital crisis — until love miraculously begins to bloom again. Queen of Tears is now playing!” Netflix wrote while sharing the trailer.

In the meantime, if reports are to be believed, there will be more familiar faces and cameos throughout the upcoming episodes of Queen of Tears. Considering that the show has directors like Jang Young Woo and Kim Hee Won known for working on Crash Landing on You, Sweet Home, Mr Sunshine, Vincenzo, and Little Women among others, viewers might be able to recognise a few more actors in the coming days. Ko Kyu Pil and Lim Chul Soo have also appeared in Queen of Tears as the staff of Queens.
