Kannada acting legend Yash’s popularity has grown with the massive success of the KGF franchise. The audience is very curious to know about his upcoming projects. The latest talk in the town is about a fan-made poster that featured Yash in the look of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Yash hasn’t issued any clarification regarding any project related to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but the buzz is doing the rounds on the internet.
This is not the first time these rumors have surfaced on the internet. They had also surfaced on social media 2 years ago. Now after the success of the KGF franchise, Yash’s look as Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhonsle is again in the news. Despite there being no official update about the film, many feel that Yash is the right choice for the character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Meanwhile, on the work front, a picture in which Yash was seen dubbing with a director Amoghavarsha of Gandhagudi fame. Many people were pleasantly surprised to see this photo and wondered what the subject of this project could be. His questions were put to rest when it was revealed that Yash had provided his voiceover for a documentary made by Amoghavarsh.
This documentary is based on the life of Nadaprabhu Hiriya Kempegowda, also known as Kempegowda. For those who do not know about Kempegowda, he was a chieftain under the Vijayanagara Empire. He is also known as the founder of Bangalore in the 16th century.
108 feet tall bronze statue of Kempegowda unveiled by PM Narendra Modi On November 11 (Friday). A documentary video prepared by Amoghavarsha talking about Kempegowda’s life and achievements was played along with the unveiling of the statue.
Apart from this voiceover, the Masterpiece actor revealed that there are plans to make a third installment of KGF. However, he added that there are no immediate plans to make it happen.
