The iconic music director duo of Laxmikant-Pyarelal has enthralled music lovers for decades, be it in films or their live performances. While Laxmikant passed away in 1998, Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma is still creating magic with his music. The legendary musician is now returning after 25 years with a concert in the United States of America where he will mesmerize with his captivating melodies.
As the increasingly enforced lockdowns slowly lift and the world prepares to return to normalcy, our music industry too wants to get back on its feet. And it sure is someone who has been a huge part of shaping our music industry with his melodious choices – Pyarelal.
Talking about the concert, the veteran musician said, “I have had the opportunity to tour around the world, but performing in America with the best musicians after 25 years is making me nostalgic.”
He goes on to say, “But I don’t feel sorry for Laxmiji’s absence, because even today, I feel that she is right here with me. Music is the only way that heals us and brings us together, especially in such a way. In tough times. I am happy. To bring some excitement and memories to our audience through our music. We will be performing most of the classics for our audiences.”
Living Legend will be performing with 20 top Bollywood musicians and singers like Amit Kumar, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sudesh Bhosle, Sadhna Sargam, Priyanka Mitra and Mohd Salamat.
The music concert that will feature a bouquet of timeless melodies and melodies from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, will be a six-city tour across the US and Canada in the month of May-June 2022. This particular concert has been toured. Organized by Priya Haider Productions and Splendid Global Entertainment Inc., it is led by Priya Haider and Mehboob Haider.
Throwing more light on the concert, Mehboob Haider said, “We decided to bring back a retro concert which we all were missing. There is some excitement about attending a live concert which is today’s era of masked pandemic. Laxmikant-Pyarelal is considered the king of tunes in the Hindi film industry and has over 635 Hindi film albums to his credit. The musical concert is going to be a ride down memory lane with some of the best creations of the duo that will open the doors of an era.
