A young man died after falling in the sun from the roof of the drug de-addiction center. The deceased has been identified as Anirban Bhattacharya. The incident is from the Drug Rehabilitation Center located at Haridebpur, Kolkata. The family members did not want to accept the demand of the 31-year-old man to jump into the incident. They allege that Anirban was pushed off the roof. However, till the last news, no complaint has been lodged by his family with the police. However, it is learned that they will file a complaint with the police.
According to family members, Anirban fell from the roof of the second floor of the drug de-addiction center on Sunday. He was later admitted to the hospital. The family reached the hospital after getting a call from the drug de-addiction center. There the doctors declared Anirban brought dead. Anirban’s father Sanjay Bhattacharya worked in the railways. He is now at home after retirement. Meanwhile, Anirban, an engineering student, became intoxicated. There was no way for him to get rid of his addiction. So he admitted his son to the Drug Rehabilitation Center in Haridebpur.
Relatives say that his father had gone to the de-addiction center last week to meet Anirban. The two talked for a long time. The family claimed that something normal was happening after Anirban stayed there. In such a situation, the family of Muhyaman Anirban got the news of the sudden death of their only son.
He complained that the way Anirban’s body fell on the road, it did not appear that he had jumped off the roof. Apart from this, Anirban was recovering quite well. As a result, they do not want to accede to the demand to jump to a drug rehabilitation center. They allege that they are being pushed from the roof.
On behalf of Nesha Mukti Kendra, Swati Mandal said, ‘Anirban was taken to the terrace to sunbathe in winter. There was an assistant as well. However, as soon as the assistant lost sight of Anirban, he jumped on the railing of the roof.
