What’s going viral A photo of NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu with RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat is going viral. It can be seen that Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and Draupadi Murmu are saluting with folded hands in front of the picture of Mother India.
It is being claimed that BJP’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu reached Nagpur RSS headquarters to meet Mohan Bhagwat.
And what is the truth?
- To know the truth of the viral photo, we reverse searched it on the search engine Yandex. In the search result, we found Mohan Bhagwat’s real photo with news on the website of ANI.
- According to the website, this picture of RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat is of RSS’s Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha held on March 12, 2022. In this photo RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale are seen paying tribute to Mother India.
- In the next phase of investigation, we did a reverse search on Yandex by cropping Draupadi Murmu in the viral photo. In the search result, we found the real photo of Draupadi Murmu in the social media post of Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren.
- Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren shared the photo with Draupadi Murmu on 29 December 2020. Sharing the photo, he wrote – Today, on the occasion of completion of one year of Jharkhand Government, met Governor Smt. Draupadi Murmu ji at Raj Bhavan.
- On seeing the real photos of Mohan Bhagwat and Draupadi Murmu, it is known that the photo going viral is edited i.e. fake.
