Fahmaan Khan also talks about his upcoming show Krishna Mohini and calls it “very unique, very new, very fresh.”

After a short break, Fahmaan Khan is all set to grace our television screens once again with the show, Krishna Mohini. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Fahmaan called his upcoming show “very unique, very new, very fresh.”

While the show’s promos are already out, they do not share much about Fahmaan’s character. Therefore, when asked about what new he would bring for his fans this time, Fahmaan said, “I always believed that I want to do something different than I haven’t done before. That’s the reason I said yes to this show. I think this character has a lot of layers when it comes to how he (his character) has to manage everything, people in the family.” He further revealed this character in the show is “a guy who sacrificed a lot in his life to take care of his family”

Before Krishna Mohini, Fahmaan was seen in Ektaa Kapoor’s Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatani. The show did not perform well on TRP charts and went off-air in just one year. However, it did not disappoint Fahmaan because he believes that there is no point in dragging a show unnecessarily if the story has been told.

“Dharam Patni worked longer than Imlie for me (laughs). I did Imlie for 10 months but Dharam Patni, I shot for 11 months. I have not done any show for more than one year. I believe that dragging a show simply because it is doing well is not right. If the crux of the show is over, if you have told the story which you wanted to, if the aim of your story is over, then there is no point in dragging it. You start on a high note, your middle should be high and your end should be high. That’s a beautiful way to finish a story. The moment you start dragging it, you end the essence of that story. People also feel that they (makers) are only repeating the same story,” he told us.

But, does the TRP performance of Dharampatani add pressure on Fahmaan before Krishna Mohini’s premiere? Quizzed about the same, the 33-year-old actor argued that he does not worry about TRP because it is not his job. He explained that rather than taking pressure, he prefers to introspect and find ways to improve.

“I cannot do this. If I start to worry about this, I will not be able to do justice to my character. As an actor, it is not my job to see what the TRP of my show is, how many people are watching it or how well is our show performing. That is not in my hands. I can try to do what is best in my hand. The acceptance of that show or the character is on the audience,” Fahmaan said, wrapping up.
