Max Verstappen crashed out of the British Grand Prix on the first lap after a contact with title rival Lewis Hamilton in a wheel-to-wheel fight.

Red Bull Formula One driver Max Verstappen defeated Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton after Britain’s dramatic victory at the British Grand Prix. On Sunday, the Dutch driver accused Hamilton of “disrespectful and sporting behavior” after the two collided at the British Grand Prix.

“Glad I’m fine. Very disappointed to be thrown out like this. The fine given doesn’t help us and doesn’t do justice to the dangerous move Lewis made on the track,” Verstappen tweeted.

“It is disrespectful and un-sporting to see the gatherings in the hospital, but we move on,” he said.

Championship leader Max Verstappen crashed at speed on Sunday’s first lap from the British Grand Prix when he made contact with rival Lewis Hamilton in a wheel-to-wheel fight.

Verstappen’s Red Bull pulled further obstacles off the track as he was out of the race. The driver of Red Bull got out of the car without any help after the crash at Kopsey Corner.

Hamilton was given a 10-second penalty, yet he won the race.

His Red Bull team tweeted that he has been taken to hospital for further precautionary tests.
