Nora Fatehi and Karan Johar Judged the last season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa with Madhuri Dixit.
It is no secret that Jhalak Dikhla Jaa will soon be back with its new season. While no contestant name has been confirmed as of now, everyone is also excited to know who will return as the judge of the celebrity dance reality show. However, it has now been revealed that Nora Fatehi will not be returning as a judge in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11.
A source close to the show has exclusively told News18 Showsha that even though Nora judged the last season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, she has not been retained for the upcoming season. “Nora will not be returning as the judge, this is for sure. We don’t know the reason but it is confirmed that Nora is not coming back,” the source told us.
On the other hand, the insider also revealed that filmmaker Karan Johar has been ‘almost confirmed’ as the judge. “Karan is all set to comeback as the judge of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. He has been in talks with the makers for a long time and is likely to confirm soon”. Karan judged the last season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa with Nora Fatehi and Madhuri Dixit.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that the makers of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa are also trying to rope in either Madhuri Dixit or Karisma Kapoor as the judge. The insider told us that the makers are currently in talks with both the actresses and are likely to finalise one of them soon.
Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11 will air on Sony TV this year. Its premiere date has not been announced as of now. Reportedly, several television celebrities including Urvashi Dholakia, Shiv Thakare, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Ayesha Singh and Shivangi Joshi have been approached for the upcoming season. Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame Manisha Rani is also likely to participate in JDJ 11.
