Jackie Shroff also opens up on his viral recipes and reveals that he used to feed the same to his children, Tiger and Krishna also.

Who does not know about Jackie Shroff’s viral recipes? From Baingan Bharta to Anda Kadi Patta; the internet is obsessed with Apna Bhidu’s mouth-watering recipes. In a recent interview with News18 Showsha, Jackie opened up about the same and revealed that he learnt these recipes from his mother. He mentioned that even his children – Tiger and Krishna, grew up eating these impeccable recipes. Not just this, Jackie revealed that since his recipe videos often go viral, he has been approached for cooking shows too.

“I think everyone loves ‘maa ke haath ka khana’. I am just conveying what my mother used to cook. I learnt these from my mom. When I was young, I used to sit on the floor and eat. Back then, I could not figure out how mom was making it but when I used to taste it, I loved it. After eating, I could say what ingredients were added to it. That’s how I learnt and gave the same things to my children also,” Jackie told us.

Shedding light on his in-discussion cooking show, Jackie shared, “Some people have approached. But for this, I will have to give proper time. It will be a fun show if it happens. We are in talks but till the time I decide what all I can make, I cannot finalise it.”

While we are now hoping that Jackie will soon be back on screen with a cooking show, his son Tiger Shroff is gearing up for the release of his movie Ganapath. The film, which also stars Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan, will hit theatres on October 20. Jackie shared that even though he is excited, he hopes that the audience likes the Vikas Bahl directorial.

“It is my son’s movie, obviously I will be excited. This is his first movie after COVID-19. What else can I say? He is a good boy, working hard. It will be fantastic. He does all the action himself in his movies. It will be fun. In exams, if a child clears it all, we are happy and if not, we work even harder. I wish him the best. I hope people love his film,” Jackie said.

Asked if Tiger is also nervous ahead of the release, the 66-year-old actor added, “I hardly see him because half of the time he is working, running around for promotions. He has been travelling to different places, Delhi and Ahmedabad. I will catch him tomorrow after a long time.”
