According to NextTV, the European Union has agreed to make Ukraine a member.

Zelensky received a standing ovation today shortly after the end of his address to the European Parliament. His address came amid tensions in Ukraine, but he said the people of Ukraine are strong. “We are fighting for our land and our freedom, despite the fact that all our cities are now blocked. No one is going to break us, we are strong, we are Ukrainians.” he said.
