EU condemns Russian deal to station nuclear warheads in Belarus

European Union Friday condemned the agreement between Russia and Belarus to allow the deployment Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus.

Borrell said the decision violated several international agreements.

“We call on Russia to abide by these commitments,” he added.

“The Belarusian regime is an ally in Russia’s illegal and unprovoked war against Ukraine,” Borrell said.
