EU agency says two jabs ‘critical’ to fight Delta variant

Hague: The MEMedicines watchdog said on Wednesday that two jabs by approved vaccine manufacturers were “critical” in providing maximum protection against the highly contagious coronavirus. delta Different, urged countries to intensify their vaccination campaigns.

Calling it “a sort of concern”, the Delta strain is “spreading rapidly in Europe and could seriously impede efforts to control the pandemic,” EMA said.
By the end of August, this edition will cover 90 percent of all coronavirus cases, european center for disease prevention and control said in the same statement.
“This makes it necessary for countries to accelerate vaccination programmes, including the delivery of the recommended second dose and to close the gap as soon as opportunities emerge,” the EMA said.
