ETimes Trollslayer: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will forever outshine social media negativity – Times of India

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was a sight to behold at the Ponniyan Selvan’s grand audio and trailer launch. The diva gracefully greeted the media, excitedly ran out to hug her mentor Mani Ratnam and respectfully sought veteran actor Rajinikanth’s blessing by touching his feet. But trolls being trolls, could only see botox, plastic surgeries and a fake accent. ETimes censures such negativity, Aishwarya only deserves love and subjecting her to such hate is uncalled-for behaviour.

Take a look at some of the distasteful comments Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was subjected to on social media and our response to the same:

“Kahan ki beauty hai ye. Botox ki dukaan. Totally plastic”

Now, now… using such disdain to describe a beauty queen, who made the country proud, is simply stooping too low. Plastic or botox, it is no one’s place to comment so harshly on someone’s looks, let alone that of a former Miss World. We suggest you try to look beyond the looks and embrace the diva for her down to earth qualities.

“Sorry but aishwarya was beautiful before but now she’s looking horrifying. Her plastic surgeries are screaming through her face.”

Rather than looking for the ‘screaming plastic surgeries’ … why not look for the goodness that she spilled at the same event? Despite being a star she didn’t shy away from seeking Rajinikanth’s blessings, like a child she ran to greet her mentor – care to endorse the same attitude?

“Why is she talking like she is reciting a poem”

Aishwarya was brimming with emotions as she passionately spoke about her special project, reuniting with Mani Ratnam. Instead of celebrating her precious moment, you unfortunately chose to give it a negative twist. Give her a break, not everything on social media has to be mandatorily painted grey.
