But the chef has changed the traditional recipe for making baked beans quesadillas

“Not all fancy recipes are complicated. This one, for example, is the easiest,” she said.

While traditionally, a corn tortilla is used, it can also be made with a flour tortilla. Here’s how to make it.

oil
Some finely chopped vegetables (garlic, onion, celery sticks, capsicum, green chillies, mushrooms)
Boiled sweet maize
2 cans – Baked Beans
Maida Roti (tortilla/chapati, optional)

to make stuffing

*Heat the pan, add some oil.
*Add some finely chopped garlic cloves, onion and celery sticks.
*Add salt as per taste.
*Then add some pizza seasoning along with finely chopped capsicum, green chillies, mushrooms (optional).
* Mix it and cook for five minutes.
*Then add two cans of boiled sweet corn and baked beans.
Cover the lid and cook for 5-7 minutes till the gravy reduces and dries up.
*Turn off the flame and let it cool down.

to make quesadillas

* Heat a tawa, put some oil in it.
* Place half the maida roti on it (tortilla/chapati can also be used).
* Spread two spoons of stuffing over it.
* Add some cottage cheese to it.
* Cover the stuffing and fold the roti, press it lightly and turn it over.
* Prepare another quesadilla in the same pan.
*Fry on medium flame till golden-brown from both the sides.
