One user said that Pakistan lost the match despite PCB chairman Rameez Raja preparing a dead pitch in Rawalpindi.

England skipper Ben Stokes played a major role in his team’s incredible win on Monday. Stokes showed tremendous leadership when he made a bold announcement at tea on the last day. The England skipper, who is known for his fearless approach towards the game, went all out to win a match which was heading towards a draw. Stokes gave his bowlers four sessions to claim 10 wickets with the hosts needing 343 runs to win.

At one point on the 5th day, it seemed that Pakistan would laugh for the last time. After a 61-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Agha Salman and Azhar Ali, Pakistan needed just 86 runs to win in the final session. But the indefatigable Ollie Robinson dismissed Salman with an inswinger that pinned him back in his crease and turned the match.

Due to low light, Pakistan could not save the match and lost their last five wickets for nine runs. Babar Azam and co have their work cut out for them and will be aiming to bounce back in the second Test in Multan.
