England vs NED: Jason Roy eliminated from his cousin in ‘Family Affair’ watch

World champion England return to ODI Cricket After more than eleven months of rest and they clashed with the Netherlands in Amstelveen where an interesting event was waiting to happen. England opener Jason Roy was clean bowled by Shane Snater of the Netherlands, who also turned out to be his cousin. Both have mothers and sisters! All this happened when the hosts won the toss and fielded England. Jason Roy, being England’s opener, walked in with Phil Salt and immediately felt the heat. He pulled one to his stumps with just one reading score on the board.

The last time these two faced off was in the year 2018 during the Royal London Cup when Essex played against Surrey. Roy’s 86 off 64 balls helped his team beat Snater Essex by five wickets. Well, after a long four years, he got his chance for revenge and made it count.
