England registered a 3-0 win against New Zealand in the three-match Test series

Team England that dominated the three-match Test series since the first Test clean New Zealand. The Ben Stokes-led side registered an aggressive seven-wicket win in the third and final Test on Monday.

After the first session was washed out due to rain on the final day, Team England scored 296/3 mid-season after restarting at 183/2.

Joe Root And Jonny Bairstow At Headingley, New Zealand’s bowlers troubled the bowlers with a brilliant 111-run stand as England chased down the target in just over an hour on the fifth day.

Bairstow, whose scintillating 162 took England to a precarious 55/6 in the first innings, played another attacking innings as he registered England’s second-fastest Test half-century off 30 balls.

Bairstow ended the game in style when he hit off-spinner Michael Bracewell for a four and a six in a brilliant unbeaten knock of 44 balls.

New Zealand started the day well Tim Southee When the game resumed after lunch, Ollie Pope (82) was clean bowled in the first over.

But Bairstow once again displayed her strength as she provided new captain Ben Stokes and new coach Brendon McCullum a perfect start to their new roles.

England won the first Test at Lord’s by five wickets and then chased down 299 in Nottingham for a five-wicket win in the second Test.
