Bangladesh captain after a crushing 8-wicket defeat against England Mahmudullah: Said on Wednesday that his team is very disappointed with the way they batted and the team needs to re-evaluate certain things in their batting in the upcoming matches of the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Mahmudullah said in the post-match presentation, “We were very disappointed with the way we batted. We have more skilled hitters than the power-hitters. I think we need to reevaluate some things in batting. Is.”

The Bangladesh captain also felt that if his team gets a good start, they can take advantage of it.

“We didn’t start well and didn’t get any partnership. If we get a good start, we can take advantage of it. If we don’t get a good start, it becomes difficult on a wicket like this,” he said.

Bangladesh, who went through the first round of the tournament to reach the Super 12, are yet to open their account in the second round of the tournament and their NRR have also suffered a loss.

They will now face defending champions West Indies in their next match on Friday.
