Emmy Nominations 2021: WandaVision, The Crown and The Mandalorian Win Multiple Nods

The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards were unveiled by the Television Academy in a virtual ceremony hosted by actor Ron Cephas Jones and his daughter Jasmine Cephas Jones. Netflix’s The Crown and Disney+’s The Mandalorian tied the knot with the most nominations – 24 each. The Academy took into account that they wanted to honor the TV season that took place amid the global pandemic.

The Crown, in its fourth season, is nominated in the Outstanding Drama Series category, alongside fellow previous nominee The Mandalorian, as well as fellow Netflix buzz title The Boys with Bridgeton, previous winner The Handmaid’s Tale from Hulu, HBO’s Lovecraft Country is. News when it wasn’t renewed for a second season, and previous names posed from FX and NBC’s This Is Us.

Following is the list of nominees in the major categories. The awards will be presented in Los Angeles on September 19 at a ceremony hosted by Cedric the Entertainer.
