Tesla And SpaceX CEO Elon Musk Not a very optimistic forecast for the economy for the year 2022, The tech billionaire recently predicted the onset of a global recession in a tweet. According to Musk, the world is going to see an economic or economic crisis this year itself. However, he didn’t add any other details to the comment, giving no reason as to how he came to that conclusion. He responded to a tweet asking “When do you think the next recession will happen?”
To which Musk replied, “Macroeconomics is challenging to predict, to say the least. My gut experience is probably around spring or summer 2022, but not later than 2023.”
