Elon Musk Congratulates ISRO For Successful Launch Of 2 Singapore-Made Satellites In PSLV C- 55

New Delhi: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully completed the “PSLV-C55/TeLEOS-2” mission. Its goal was to precisely place the TeLEOS-2 and LUMELITE-4 satellites in their intended circular orbits of 586 km. The test was successfully conducted by ISRO and was termed as ‘a textbook launch’.

Reacting to ISRO’s success in the textbook launch of the TeLEOS-2 mission, SpaceX chief Elon Musk wrote, “Congratulations!”. Tech billionaire Musk’s comment marked a big deal for the Indian space organization and world leaders and billionaires are eyeing ISRO and its missions.

ISRO tweeted after the successful launch of the satellite mission and wrote, “PSLV-C55/TeLEOS-2 mission accomplished successfully. In a textbook launch, the vehicle precisely placed the TeLEOS-2 and LUMELITE-4 satellites into their intended 586 km circular orbits. It also shared pictures of the launch of PSLV-C55.

ISRO’s PSLV-C55/TeleOS-2 mission

ISRO on Saturday launched its PSLV-C55/TeLEOS-2 mission, which sent two Singapore-made satellites into space. It was launched from ISRO’s Satish Dhawan Space Center (SCSC) at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

The mission was carried out by ISRO’s commercial arm, NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) – an organization that aims to commercialize ISRO’s missions.

This is the 57th flight of ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
