The reality show, Bigg Boss has revived the careers of many television and film personalities and promoted famous personalities. As the popularity of contestants grows during the season, so do their need for professional roles. The same has been the case with television actor Aly Goni, who participated in season 14 of the reality show last year. After the completion of the show, he was seen in two music videos, Tera Suit and Tu Bhi Sathya Jayega, with his girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin. However, he has been missing from the television screens for a few months now and has not taken up any major projects.
In a recent interview to an entertainment portal Spotboye, Ellie has revealed the reason behind not taking any big project.
The actor tested positive for Covid-19 in May this year, when he accompanied his woman to his hometown in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that he is still recovering from it and hence is currently not doing any work. He explained that while he was battling the virus, he had to take several “steroids”, which had some “side effects” and he “gained weight”. He said that his initial priority at present is to come back healthy and in pre-Covid shape.
Ellie said that although she has been receiving several “offers” for television shows and web series, she has not decided to act on any of them yet. He concluded by saying that he wants to give his 100% to whatever character he chooses and feels that he needs to be completely healthy to do so.
Before participating in Bigg Boss 14, the television star was best known for playing the role of Romi Bhalla in the daily soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatein that aired on StarPlus from 2013 to 2019. He had earned a huge fan base due to his acting.
