MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court on Friday convicted Surendra. granted interim bail to Gadling From 13-21 August, he went to Nagpur and performed the last rites of the mother on the occasion of her first death anniversary.
Gadling, a lawyer, challenged the September 2020 disapproval NIA Court. But the NIA had said that a lot of time had elapsed so the trial court’s order could no longer be disturbed, and also cited allegations to argue that gaudling is a serious matter under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. .

The NIA, which is prosecuting 15 accused in the Elgar Parishad case, has been accused of being Maoists, opposed his petition. its advocate message Patil had on Monday said that there are sufficient number of family members who can perform the last rites and said that the scope of the legal provisions cannot be expanded in appeal as it is under Article 226 to invoke the extraordinary jurisdiction of the HC. There was no petition. Apart from this, Patil described the matter against Gadling as serious.
Gadling was arrested on June 6, 2018 and has not been granted bail since.
The NIA case is that the Elgar Parishad at Shaniwarwada, Pune on December 31, 2017 was funded by the banned CPI(M) as part of a conspiracy to make unrest and provocative speeches promoting enmity between different caste groups. This, he said, led to clashes at Koregaon Bhima on January 1, 2018.
