The bandh has received support from student organizations of opposition parties. Internet is down in 20 districts. Most schools have been kept closed. Security has been increased from railway station to BJP offices.

Police-administration is on alert in all districts including Patna, Nalanda, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Buxar, Rohtas, Bettiah, Muzaffarpur, Ara, Lakhisarai and Jamui. Security forces have been deployed at major intersections and railway stations. However, till now there is no talk of performance anywhere. The administration has appealed to the army candidates not to protest.

At the same time, on Monday also, the operation of trains opening and passing through East Central Railway will be stopped. About 350 trains will be canceled in this sequence. Only from 8 pm to 4 am, passing trains going to other zones will open from other zones via East Central Railway.

CPRO Virendra Kumar said that after reviewing the situation on Monday, normal operation of trains will start. On the other hand, a case has been registered against 6 coaching institutes of Patna district for the nuisance against Agneepath.

At the same time, due to the bandh, most of the private schools in the capital will remain closed on Monday. Schools were to be opened from Monday after the summer vacation, but most of the schools will be opened from Tuesday when the situation returns to normal. Some schools have decided to conduct online classes.

Those opposing the Agneepath plan have targeted BJP leaders and offices after the railways. In view of this, Border Security Force (SSB) has been deployed for the security of BJP office in 11 districts. So far, three BJP offices and two MLAs have been attacked. Stones were pelted at the house of Deputy CM Renu Devi and BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal.
