ED Arrests KCR’s Daughter K. Kavitha in Delhi Liquor Scam Case

K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter, K. Kavitha, has been detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case. According to sources, Kavitha is being brought to Delhi by the ED.

K. Kavitha, daughter of BRS President and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, as well as a member of the Telangana Legislative Council, faced an ED raid at her residence in the upscale Banjara Hills area. During the raid, access to her home was restricted to outsiders. Although the exact commencement time of the search wasn’t immediately clear, news of the ED’s presence emerged in the afternoon.

Kavitha, a former MP, had been previously interrogated by the ED. Despite receiving summons since October last year, she hadn’t appeared before the agency. Moreover, she had taken her case to the Supreme Court, contesting the ED’s summoning of women to its office.

Previously, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has interrogated the daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao regarding allegations of bribery and financial transactions linked to the scam. Reports suggested that approximately Rs 100 crore was purportedly exchanged during the incident.
