A poem by the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has reached the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office. ED is going to interrogate him for the second time today in the Delhi liquor policy scam. Kavita was also called for questioning on March 16, but then Kavita did not reach the ED office.

Kavita is alleged to have been part of the South Cartel, which bribed Delhi’s liquor policy to make changes and earn money. Security forces have been deployed outside KCR’s house in Delhi ahead of the questioning.

Documents were sent to the lawyer in the last inquiry

Earlier, ED had questioned Kavita for 9 hours on March 11. During this, he was questioned about the statements of Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Ramachandran Pillai.

Pillai has been arrested in this case. He is called the frontman of ‘South Group’. He is believed to be close to poetry. His statement was recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

On March 11, a large number of supporters had gathered at Kavita’s house before going to the ED office. After meeting everyone, Kavita left for the ED office.

Application filed in Supreme Court against interrogation, hearing on March 24
Kavita had petitioned the Supreme Court on Wednesday, March 15, that under the rules, the ED cannot call a woman to its office for questioning. ED will have to come to his house for questioning. The Supreme Court will hear the matter on March 24, although the court did not give any interim relief to Kavita.

Supporters did a show of strength
Kavita’s party BRS did a show of strength in Delhi on 20 March. Party ministers and senior leaders came from Telangana to Delhi to support Kavitha. The leaders alleged that the ED has become an ally of the BJP. Kavita had also said that there is a political conspiracy behind the ED’s summons. Kavita has also challenged the confiscation of her phone.
