A video of BLACKPINK members Jisoo and Lisa joking around on stage is also going viral on social media.
BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s solo debut is just around the corner and amid this, the K-pop group is also wrapping up their Born Pink tour. It was during one of their latest concerts in Taiwan when member Lisa requested Jisoo for a teeny tiny spoiler of her upcoming album ME. It’s unclear whether Jisoo sidestepped the question with his cool response or if his pose was actually a spoiler, but it has kicked off just the right amount of anticipation for his solo debut. A video of Jisoo and Lisa’s merry laugh on the stage is also going viral on social media.
In the clip, halfway through the performance, Lisa asks her bandmate for just one little sign. Jisoo, who has been moving deftly around the stage, pauses for a moment, bringing her index finger to her lips. Poker was poker with a facial expression that quickly turns into a playful laugh. While many speculated that the pose may have been a part of his ME choreography, others believed it was his strategy to smartly pop the question. Watch the moment here:
It was in the month of February when the label YG Entertainment It has been officially confirmed that Jisoo is set to make his solo debut this year. About a month later, the K-pop idol announced that his debut single would be released on March 31. ME’s mysterious “Coming Soon” poster featured a piece of bright red fabric in the middle of a lush green field. “See you soon,” wrote Jisoo alongside the Instagram post. Check it out below:
Since then, posters have been released alongside a series of teaser visuals, including a video that shows Jisoo playing with an extraordinary red flower. Interestingly, the name of his first single is Flower, which indicates that his first solo music project revolves around floral themes.
Meanwhile, Blackpink’s second full-length studio album Born Pink became a huge hit. It peaked at number 1 on the Billboard 200 list in October 2022. Last month, while announcing their Born Pink tour, the group confirmed they would be hitting the road and would visit Australia and Mexico. The group is also gearing up to mark their return at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Art Festival after a four-year hiatus.
