Earlier in November, at least 318 people were killed after a magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Indonesia’s Java province, CGTN reported, citing the country’s local rescue officials. CGTN quoted Xinhua as saying that the earthquake displaced 62,545 people in Cianjur.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a 5.6-magnitude earthquake at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) struck at 1:21 p.m. local time on Monday, causing buildings to collapse during the school. Classes were going on.
