Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR late on Monday night. Tremors were felt in Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Rohtak and other areas at 10.36 pm.
The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 3.7 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was found near Jhajjar in Haryana.
There were no immediate casualties or damage reported.
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) in its last update said, “An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 occurred at 10:36 pm, 10 km north of Jhajjar, Haryana.”
Earlier on June 20, an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 on the Richter scale hit the national capital. There was no damage or casualties due to the earthquake.
