The blog mentions that the new update has added multiple new changes to the content and gameplay of the title which includes — multi-round events, bug fixes and other performance-related improvements. According to a report by PlayStation Universe, the update follows the news about Grid Legends joining EA Play the next month. The new update is now available across — Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
Grid Legends update 3.3: Multi-round events
As per the blog post, the ability to create multi-round events for online and offline gaming was one of the most requested features since the game’s launch which will now be available with the new update.
Players can now select up to four events to play one after another (without having to return to the main menu) in the Race Creator mode, the blog mentions. EA has also shared an image to show how players can use this feature.
According to the blog, players will be randomly paired into teams and points will be based on finishing positions in each event. This means that if players don’t do well in the first event can help their teammates to jump back later on.
Grid Legends update 3.3: New Fordzilla event
The blog also mentions Team Fordzilla will debut the TFZ-P1 simulator which players can use to race on Grid Legends for prizes. Players can either try it out at the Gamescom event or can visit the new in-game page Dynamic Events (previously known as Weekly and Monthly Events) and compete in another limited-time Fordzilla event in Barcelona. The TFZ-P1 will be available till September 21
Grid Legends update 3.3: Bug fixes and other improvements
Apart from the new events, the developer has also added some other improvements like — an in-game clear all notifications option, new lap rules, better camera movements in photo mode and improved AI drivers.
Furthermore, the latest Grid Legends update has also added improvements in the online mode, some system fixes (one that patches the incorrectly unlocking of Trophies issue) and a few text and audio adjustments.
