It’s finally cold and polluted in Noida to test the Dyson purifier Hot + Cool. Although not so cold now that one needs a room heater, it is polluted enough that many air purifiers in my house have been running uninterrupted for days to make sure the air inside is enough for my 10 year old .

I could use the remote that sits on its perch at the top of the loop to check the levels of other contaminants that were working on purifying PM10 to VOCs and NO2. The display up front shows the temperature as well as the humidity level in the room.
Like other Dysons, this one also uses advanced HEPA filters combined with sensors to trap pollutants and allergens. To test the sensor, I ran the purifier on auto when there was a barbecue in the house and it came on loud enough to suck in the smoke.
While the remote lets you do everything on the purifier, the fact that it resides on top of the purifier means you’re not usually near it. And that’s why I preferred controlling the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool with the Phone app. The purifier can be tilted and rotated at multiple angles. For example, a nice feature if you only want to warm your feet.

One aspect that needs to be kept in mind is that the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool is trying to bring down the AQI levels in the room as quickly as possible, but it can be a bit noisy. Is. In fact, almost noisy like the chimneys in our kitchens. So I ended up running it mostly at low fan levels, especially while working. A good way to use Purify is to turn it on through the app and play it completely before you return home or leave the office.
