Yami Gautam is currently basking in the success of her latest release Chor Nikal Ke Bhag. The film also featured Sunny Kaushal. The film released on Netflix on March 25 and became an instant success. It is one of the top ten most viewed movies on the streaming giant. Now in an interview, the actress revealed that once she was advised to get a nose job done.
In an interview with The Indian Express. Yami said, “I was advised to have a nose surgery! There are many such consultations going on (this was one of them).” He continued, “What is people’s obsession with other people’s faces?! There are girls, there are people who take it seriously. I feel bad because you have to look at yourself every day and work. Sometimes if some things go wrong.”
Yami further added that it is about personal choice and one should not impose such opinion on others. “I mean, it’s a personal choice, to each his own, I’m no one to comment on anyone else. But I think it’s not right, if you want to do something, it should be your choice. It shouldn’t be.” Coming from someone, that, ‘Oh, this is what you need to do so you’ll get cast or look better.’ I don’t agree with all those things,” she said.
Yami’s co-star, actor Sunny Kushal revealed how he too was asked to undergo nose surgery. “I have a ‘pakoda’ nose and someone asked me to do something about it. But I flatly refused.”
Meanwhile, the heist thriller is helmed by Ajay Singh and produced by Amar Kaushik. The film also starred Sharad Kelkar, who played the role of Parvez Sheikh, a RAW officer. Indranil Sengupta and Barun Chanda appeared in the lead roles.
