DYK ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli keeps flies in his refrigerator; why over here

Recently during the promotion of their upcoming film RRR, the film’s lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan revealed an interesting fact about SS Rajamouli and his film Eega. Jr NTR revealed that Rajamouli used to keep flies in the fridge in his house and whenever someone opened the fridge, more flies would come than eat.
Explaining the reason behind this, Ram Charan said that Rajamouli wanted to research the process of hibernation, which means a kind of deep sleep in freezing temperatures in flies. This is the reason why Rajamouli kept flies in his fridge to make Eega.
SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ is a fictional tale on the youthful days of renowned freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, illustrated by Jr NTR and Ram Charan. ‘RRR’ was originally planned to release on July 30, 2020.
However, unexpected delays including injuries to Jr NTR and Ram during production forced the makers to push the release date.
The makers then extended the release date to October 13, 2021, but due to the theaters not fully functioning, the makers postponed that date as well. Jayantilal Gada (PEN) has acquired theatrical distribution rights throughout North India and has also purchased worldwide electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will distribute the film in the North Territory.
