Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, represents the triumph of truth over falsehood and is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. It falls on the tenth day of the bright half of the Ashwin month, marking the defeat of Ravana by Lord Shri Ram and Mahishasura by Mother Durga. This year, Dussehra falls on Tuesday, October 24th.
