According to Greater Kashmir, Rajkumar Hirani and his team were shooting for the last three days at Sonmarg, a famous resort in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. “The shooting of a portion of the film scheduled at Sonamarg has been completed and the crew is returning to Srinagar. Some portion of a song is likely to be shot in South Kashmir on Thursday.”
It is also reported that the crew will return to Mumbai on Friday after shooting in various outdoor locations including Dal Lake in Srinagar. A source also told the outlet, “Dunky will be Shah Rukh’s most offbeat film since Swades.”
Danky is reportedly about a Punjabi boy who lives in Canada. It has been said that the theme of this film is immigration across borders. The film will be released in theaters on 22 December 2023. Shahrukh’s wife Gauri Khan is also associated with the production of this film. It is Shah Rukh’s first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani and Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu. It is also rumored that the film stars Vicky Kaushal.
