The film had its world premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival. Thereafter it was also screened at the International Film Festival of India in the year of its completion. Its Indian release is courtesy of the Bandra Film Festival which will publish the film on its YouTube channel.
Despite being released in 2005, the film’s theatrical release was cancelled. Producer Manya Patil Seth told scroll, “I would love to release the film, I have a great desire to do so. Someone has been trying to release it for years.”
Manya said that the release of the film was stalled at that time due to technical and legal reasons.
