Delhi University reopening: Delhi University (DU) will reopen the campus for UG/PG courses with 50% seating capacity from September 15, 2021. The university has decided to conduct the classes in a mix of online-offline mode.

The varsity has directed the teaching and non-teaching staff of colleges affiliated to the university to receive both the doses of COVID-19 vaccination at the earliest. The university further advised students who wish to attend physical classes to receive at least one dose of vaccination. Although both doses of vaccination are required for hostel residents, it should be ensured that they have at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

Libraries in the university will be reopened from September 6, 2021. However, if the library is not able to ensure the seating arrangement as per the SOP, they may at least allow the issue of books to the students on a regular basis.

The University will resume laboratory/practical classes for students of UG/PG courses with 50% working capacity from 15th September, 2021.
