Drugs on cruise ship case: NCB SIT summons Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan for questioning

MumbaiNarcotics Control Bureau’s Special Investigation Team on Sunday (November 7) summoned Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan for questioning in connection with the drugs in the cruise ship case, according to ANI. Last month, Aryan was detained and later arrested after the NCB raid on the luxury cruise. He came out of Mumbai’s Arthur Road Central Jail after spending 22 days behind bars.

The anti-drug law enforcement agency also issued summons to Arbaaz Seth Merchant and Achit Kumar to appear before the authorities. According to an ANI report, they have reached the NCB office to record their statement.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the NCB arrived in Mumbai on Saturday (November 6), a day after the federal agency transferred the probe into six cases, including drugs in the cruise ship case.

The newly formed SIT is headed by senior IPS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh. A PTI report said the team will probe six cases to conduct a thorough probe to find out the back-and-forth links that have national and international ramifications.

Aryan Khan’s bail conditions

The Bombay High Court had granted bail to Aryan on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. As per the bail conditions, the 23-year-old has to visit the NCB office every Friday between 11 am and 2 pm. He was also instructed to submit his passport before the authorities.
